FOS Architects was founded on a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, precision, and the power of thoughtful design. Our connection to the built environment began at a young age through our grandfather, a master carpenter who worked for the Museum of Rhodes in Greece, restoring and fabricating intricate architectural woodwork including historic doors, cornices, and detailed medieval elements.
Watching his dedication to detail and hearing the stories behind his work instilled an early understanding that great architecture is not only about aesthetics, but about discipline, problem solving, and creating spaces that endure. That foundation continues to shape the way we approach design today.

Founder
FOS Architects was founded by Lenna Galanis-Hernandez, whose passion for architecture was shaped through early exposure to craftsmanship, construction, and the creative process. With nearly a decade of professional experience, Lenna has worked across a diverse range of project types including commercial, civic, recreational, and high end residential environments.
Throughout her career, she has developed a strong reputation for combining design focused thinking with technical precision and hands on project leadership. Her experience includes leading project design, coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams, managing client relationships, and overseeing projects throughout construction administration.
Lenna’s approach to architecture is rooted in the belief that exceptional spaces should not only be visually compelling, but should also improve functionality, elevate user experience, and create lasting impact for the people and businesses they serve.
Driven by a passion for innovation and the evolving relationship between architecture and technology, she founded FOS Architects as a studio focused on pushing the built environment forward through thoughtful design, advanced digital workflows, and fabrication integrated thinking.
