Capitol Tower Lobby

This 2,300 square foot lobby renovation transforms the arrival experience into a more immersive, visually dynamic, and welcoming environment.

Project Overview

The renovation reimagines the building entry as a stronger connection between the interior lobby and the exterior public realm. The design improves circulation, visibility, and first impressions while creating a more refined experience for tenants and visitors.

Design Approach

A high volume entry sequence is shaped by a sculptural undulating ceiling element that guides visitors toward the elevator lobby. Clean white surfaces, bold color, and architectural wayfinding work together to create a contemporary and memorable point of arrival.

01

Arrival Experience

The lobby was redesigned to create a stronger first impression and a more welcoming transition from the exterior into the building.

02

Sculptural Ceiling

An undulating ceiling element introduces movement, rhythm, and visual depth while guiding visitors through the space.

03

Double Height Volume

The high volume entry creates a more open and immersive experience, giving the lobby a stronger sense of scale and presence.

04

Green Feature Element

A bold green architectural feature adds identity, color, and continuity while creating a clear visual anchor within the space.

05

Interior Exterior Connection

The feature element extends toward the building façade, strengthening the relationship between the lobby and the street.

06

Architectural Wayfinding

Material contrast, spatial flow, and clean detailing help make circulation more intuitive and the experience more engaging.

What This Creates

A contemporary lobby environment that strengthens the building’s identity, improves the tenant and visitor experience, and creates a more welcoming and visually impactful point of arrival.
