Capitol Tower Rooftop

Three thousand square feet at the top of a tower in downtown Austin, a few blocks from the Capitol: a lounge, a gym, and a terrace under open sky. The canopy takes its cue from the Capitol, its profile kept as thin as we could make it so that from inside, nothing stands between you and the view. In the lounge, curved niches framed in yellow steel turn toward the windows, bright and light, a small play against the city outside. The gym carries the same language, a quiet room set apart from the rest of the building where a workout can be calm. The palette is light on purpose. It lets the Capitol and the hills beyond do most of the work.
